Last year i released a base option file for people to use to build better option files. There were people complaining about a lack of quality option files for the American users even though the game has not even been out 24 hours yet! That being said, yesterday I edited my fingers off and will again release my BASE option file.things I have done.

Corrected all fake names- Cups, Leagues, Players, Teams, National Team players Corrected duplicate players in National teams Did the EPL kits to the best of my ability with PNG’s which I will attach Updated Emblems for La Liga and EPL Things I have not done but eventually will. Complete the La Liga kits as I have not touched them Maybe some National Team Kits THINGS I WILL NOT DO, DONT PLAN TO DO, DONT ASK CUZ IM NOT DOING IT lol TRANSFERS! I know its annoying to see berbatov at Tottenham still, but I believe we will get the 1.20 patch soon enough and I am not gonna do the work of doing all those transfers if Konami is fixing it and releases the patch say next week. I could care less about Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga or any other teams, I dont have the time to create a team from scratch. other miscellaneous things people may ask me to doset boots for every player, make sure the captains are right on every team, making sure they play the right formation, or players have the right number. It is a simple base file!!! Instructions (please read!) -Follow link to download OF -When downloaded on your cpu, should appear as a.zip file. (compressed data file) -Get winrar or any unzip utility from the web (google search these)if you haventgot these already -Go into chosen utility and Unzip downloaded file -This should now appear as a ps3 folder, within that will be many uniform folders and a option folder -Copy the whole ps3 folder and its sub folders, to a pc formatted usb stick -Stick usb in playstation -Under game menu in media bar om ps3 is a save data utility -in this folder will be all your game saves for you games -Delete all your existing pes edit data/kit pngs.

Using a Memory Device 1. Put your USB/Memory Stick into your PC. On the PC create the following folder paths in the device: PS3 EXPORT PSV. Put the PS3 gamesave into the folder called PSV.

Boot up PS3 with PES2008 already in the drive. Follow the prompts to create an internal PS2 memory card. Put your memory device into your PS3, go along to games, then memory cards. Copy the OF from your device to the PS2 internal memory card you just created. OR Using a PSP 1. Boot up PS3 with PES2008 already in the drive. Follow the prompts to create an internal PS2 memory card.

Select USB mode on PSP. Under GAME DATA on dash find PSP folder. Select ‘Display All’. Find the PS3 EXPORT PSV folder. 7 Highlight the Option File 8.

Taking the teams thats stats have been done, i simulated many cup tournaments to see how they performed against premiership opposition. Results seemed fair, Chelsea 5-0 Motherwell, Rangers 1-0 Middlesbrough, Arsenal 6-1 Falkirk, Aberdeen 1-0 Dundee united, Hamilton accies 3-1 Bolton. That last one seemed like a freak score as hamilton have one of the lowest stats in the game. It’s geared towards using in MASTER LEAGUE so the spl teams are in the la liga section and other leagues A.

So your Master League will contain; Premiership(Div 1) SPL(Div 2) then Ligue 1, Serie A, and the 4th League will be a mix of Eredivisie, La Liga and Other leagues A. The “Spanish League” section has been renamed and now contains the following; Aberdeen, Athletic Club, Barcelona, Dundee United, Deportivo La Coruna, Espanyol, Falkirk, Hamilton, Hearts, Athletico Madrid., Real Madrid, Hibernian, Mallorca, Inverness, Kilmarnock, Racing Club de Santander., Sevilla., Valencia, Valladolid., Villareal.team will be officially patched by Konami. With all the files on your usb stick, put the stick into your PS3. NOTE: If you want this as your secondary option file, create a new user on your ps3 and you can use this user if you want a shot of the SPL and your original user if you want another edited option file. Before loading up PES, scroll along to the GAME section on your ps3 and press up to go to SAVED DATA UTILITY. Press X and you should see your usb stick. Press x to go into it and you’ll see all the files contained in the option file.

Now you need to copy these to ps3. Press triangle on one of the files and click on copy.

You’ll need to do this for every individual file, and bearing in mind there are 167 files, this might take a good 10/15 minutes, (although thats nothing compared to 27.05.11 hours making the thing!) 6. Load up PES and play! Just a wee note, the majority of SPL teams are in the section where the La Liga teams are. Motherwell, St Mirren Rangers and Celtic are in Other Leagues A P.S.
